Best Travel Destinations in Europe for Architecture

9/13/2015

Europe is full of different cultures, languages and races. You can see there beautiful churches or cathedrals, admire stunning architecture of museums, castles or other buildings, wander around monuments or take a trip to nature. There are many possibilities you can choose from, and it is only on you what you will choose to do. However, I think we have the cities you should not miss in Europe. So get ready and make sure you add these places to your bucket list.

Florence, Italy

Florence is one of the most beautiful cities in Italy. I can never get enough of its beauty in art, architecture, cuisine, and history. Does not matter how many times you visit it, you are always amazed. By my opinion, everybody can find there something. If you are interested in architecture, you should visit Duomo, Battistero (Baptistry) or Basilica di Santa Croce. For fashion lovers, I have one tip - Gucci museo (Gucci museum). There you can find many iconic products by this famous brand. I´m sure you will love this city as I do.

Vienna, Austria

If you are looking for classical music and art, Vienna is the choice number 1. Haydn, Beethoven, Mozart and much more showed their talent there, and you can feel the atmosphere of monarchs too. While in Vienna, do not forget to stop at Belvedere Palace, Museum of Fine Arts or St. Stephen´s Cathedral. My personal tip - book Sacher Hotel and ask for a room with view to Opera House. You will not regret it.

Prague, Czech republic

I love this city. And it is not because Prague is my hometown. There are many reasons why you will love the capital city of Czech republic. It is full of stunning architecture, such as St. Vitus Cathedral, Prague Castle or famous Prague Astronomical Clock. An absolute must-visit is Charles Bridge. If you are interested in Mozart, I can give you a tip to visit Bertramka, where Mozart stayed during his visits in Prague. While in Prague, order typical Czech meal and enjoy it. Czech cuisine is something special and delicious.

Barcelona, Spain

Barcelona has some of the most unique and interesting architecture in the world. You cannot deny it. There are much building which can prove it, for example, Church of Sacred Family, Casa Batllo or Casa Mila. Stroll through Barri Gotic, one of the oldest parts of the city or spend the afternoon at famous Parc Guell. And when the sun goes down, enjoy Spanish way how to live nightlife.

Paris, France

Everybody knows Eiffel Tower or the Louvre. Of course Notre-Dame or Musee D´Orsay are also must-see things in this amazing city. What I adored so much and what people sometimes miss - Jardin du Luxembourg (Luxembourg Gardens.) Another place you should consider visiting is Chateau de Versailles (Versailles Palace.) I recommend getting there early because it is often packed with tourists. My personal tip is to take with you own bottle of water and own snack, the prices are a bit high over there.
